Highland Fireguard® UL-2085
Overview
Cylindrical Fireguard
Cylindrical construction provides superior “ribbed” strength with flat-flanged heads and continuous exterior lap welds on all joints. Seal-welded bulkheads can be added to create compartments for multiple fluid storage options. Available in 300-60,000 gallon capacities, they are supplied with primary and secondary emergency vents. Fittings of various sizes and styles enable connections to external piping systems.
Rectangular Fireguard
Unlike concrete encased tanks, Fireguard® tanks’ steel outer wall protects the insulation, eliminating the problem of cracking and spalling concrete. Because of its unique construction, each tank is pressure-testable in the factory and at the jobsite. Available in 500-12,000 gallon capacities, there is no question of compliance with fire codes; the tank is shipped with factory-installed emergency vents on both the primary and the secondary containment tanks for protection if exposed to fire or excessive pressure.
